Congratulations as you prepare for your child’s Baptism! Baptisms are held on Sundays at 1:00pm by appointment.
Parents are required to attend a pre-Baptism class given by one of the parish Priests. Classes are offered on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 10:00am. Please contact the Parish Office to register in advance at (203) 261-3676.
Godparents
Godparents serve an important role in your child’s spiritual life. Godparent(s) must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
Godparents will need to obtain a Sponsor Certificate from their home parish. If their home Parish is St. Theresa Church they must call for a brief appointment to meet with the Pastor.
Sponsor Forms
Sponsor forms are due 4 weeks prior to the date of your child’s Baptism. We appreciate the opportunity to meet with you and assist you as you prepare for your child to receive the Sacrament of Baptism. See guidelines for sponsors.
