Religious Education
St. Theresa’s Parish
St. Theresa Parish offers an outstanding religious education program to help parents fulfill their promise at their child’s baptism: to educate them in the faith. All classes for grades K – 9 will be held in St. Theresa School.
Our Mission at Saint Theresa Religious Education is to assist parents, as primary educators, in fulfilling the promises you made at your child’s Baptism. You accepted the obligation to nurture your child in the Catholic Faith and help prepare and participate in the Sacramental life of the Church. As partners in this mission our goal is to help draw families into a deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Registration begins on June 15th, with an early-bird special through July 31st.
Starting August 1st tuition goes to regular price.

Receiving The Sacraments
- The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated in Grade 2
- First Holy Communion is celebrated in Grade 3.
- The Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated in Grade 9 with two years of preparation in our program before making Confirmation.
Students are required to attend special retreats to prepare them for the reception of these Sacraments.
Adults seeking to receive Baptism, Confirmation, or Holy Communion are encouraged to enroll in our RCIA program.
Catechists
We are so grateful to our team of volunteers. Classes are forming, but we are always in need of more catechists to teach a class or be an aide. No experience is necessary.
We will hold training classes during the summer months, as well as tuition incentives to catechists. Visit our Catechist ministry page and read some catechist testimonials to learn more.
