Ignite Youth Ministry
Do Ordinary Great Things
IGNITE is a ministry that engages the youth of St. Theresa in the holy sacraments, service to otehrs, and fellowship. IGNITE will emphasize helping youth encounter Christ through the truth, beauty, and goodness of our Catholic faith. Activities will focus on the Three Pillars of Faith: Prayer, Service and Worship.
The program targets (but is not limited to) middle school teems, grades 5-8.
How we accomplish our mission
Participation: Provide opportunities in liturgical offerings and service group opportunities. We encourage teens to get involved, while being flexible to seasonal busy schedules.
Teen Leadership: We will teach teen leaders how to plan, promote, recruit volunteers, and execute events. They will help run our monthly meetings and pray for the mission and for those we are serving.
Parent Participation: Parent involvement is another key to growing a thriving youth ministry. We will look to parents, young adults, and other adult leaders in the community to help our ministry.
