Pro-Life Ministry
The St. Theresa Pro-Life Group is dedicated to the protection of all human life from conception to natural death through prayer, education and Catholic action. The St. Theresa Pro-Life Group consists of Catholic women and men who are committed to praying, sacrificing and working for the greater respect for all human life. All the pastoral and educational activities emerge from and are directed toward the Eucharist, from which God’s riches flow. The group relies on the intercessory prayers of St. Theresa and entrusts itself to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Life.
Our group helps to organize our Annual rally to The March for Life, sponsors a Tri-Annual Collection of baby items including new blankets, and clothing (up to size 24 months). We also work to benefit pro-life efforts of Hope Line Pregnancy Resource Center.
The group continuously collects diapers and wipes. The donation box is located in the Church. Please help support mothers in the Bridgeport area by donating much needed items or joining our Ministry. We meet every third Saturday after the 8:00am mass for “coffee and…” in the Parish Center.
The Visitation Ministry is an outreach of St. Theresa’s Pro-Life group. We welcome new and expectant parents and their babies by bringing meals and offering prayers. If you or someone you know is a parent of a newborn, expecting or if you would like to be a part of this ministry please e-mail.
Have you had an abortion? If you need someone to talk to please call 203-218-0291.
