PARISH CHOIR, THE QUARTET, CANTORS

PARISH CHOIR

The Parish Choir is a dedicated and friendly group comprised of adult and young adult singers. The Parish Choir leads the music at the 10:30am Solemn Mass on Sunday’s singing the plainsong propers, a Mass setting and Communion Motet, as well as leading he congregational hymns and responsories.

We warmly welcome new members! There is no audition, although singing experience and understanding of musical notation is certainly an advantage.

Usual Parish Choir Schedule

• Wednesday 7pm-8:30pm Rehearsal

• Sunday 10am Rehearsal; 10:30am Solemn Mass

THE QUARTET

The Quartet is our resident group of professional singers.  They sing both with the Parish Choir as section leaders and as a distinct consort, occasionally being augmented by a further four professional singers for special liturgies.

CANTORS

We have a dedicated team of Cantors who lead the singing at the non-choral weekend Masses.
