Be assured of Fr. Flavian’s, Deacon Lambert’s, and my prayers as we continue to persevere through this pandemic, praying for the Good Lord’s intervention to end it, as well as for the consolation of all those who suffer, and the tremendous graces upon our health care workers.
Essential to God’s grace flowing into the world is our adoration and worship of Him, in conjunction with our surrender of our minds and hearts to the One who surrendered Himself to death on a Cross, so that we could have the great hope of eternal glory!
Because this is May, the month of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and as we prepare for the feast of Our Lady of Fatima on May 13, we held a rooftop Adoration and Benediction this Sunday, May 10, 2020. As this is also Mother’s Day in our nation, it is a wonderful opportunity to thank God for giving us the greatest mother and most Holy Queen to love and pray for us always! We prayed the angelus prayer, as is traditional way of honoring Mary and expressing Our firm belief in the great event that God entered human flesh.
Through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother, may all mothers be graced abundantly this Sunday and always!
God love you,
Fr. Brian Gannon
